Marisa & Joe | A Vibrant Colorado Wedding Filled With Love & Tradition

Some of the best love stories begin with friendship, and that’s exactly how Marisa and Joe’s story began. The two met at work, where they were both teachers, and what started as a friendship slowly blossomed into something much more. Their story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the person who becomes your forever begins simply as someone who makes your everyday life a little brighter.

Although Marisa and Joe now live back East, they chose to celebrate their wedding in Colorado a place that holds a special meaning for Marisa, as it’s where she grew up. Bringing their loved ones to Colorado made their wedding day even more meaningful, creating a beautiful connection between the life they’ve built together and the place that shaped Marisa.

The day was filled with vibrant garden florals, bringing an abundance of color and joy to their celebration. The colorful blooms created the perfect backdrop for a wedding that felt both elegant and full of life.

One of the most beautiful parts of the day was their traditional Jewish wedding ceremony. Jewish wedding traditions are filled with symbolism, history, and meaning, and Marisa and Joe’s ceremony was truly something special to witness.

One of my favorite traditions is the Seven Blessings, or Sheva Brachot. The blessings celebrate love, joy, companionship, creation, and the couple’s new life together. Hearing these beautiful blessings spoken as Marisa and Joe stood beneath the chuppah was such a meaningful part of their ceremony and a wonderful reflection of the traditions they chose to carry into their marriage.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued into a joyful evening filled with wonderful food, dinner, dancing, and a photo booth where guests could let loose and make memories of their own. And, of course, no Jewish wedding celebration would be complete without the hora! Watching Marisa and Joe be lifted into the air surrounded by their family and friends was an absolute highlight of the evening. The energy, laughter, and excitement on the dance floor were contagious, creating one of those unforgettable wedding moments that everyone in the room gets to share.

From a friendship that grew into love to a wedding day surrounded by family, friends, vibrant flowers, and meaningful Jewish traditions, Marisa and Joe’s Colorado wedding was a beautiful celebration of everything that brought them to this moment.
