A One-of-a-Kind Glamorous Wedding at Wellshire Inn Event Center in Denver, Colorado | Trais & Arden

Some weddings are beautiful, and then some weddings are so completely authentic to the couple that you can’t help but fall in love with every single detail. Trais and Arden’s wedding at the Wellshire Inn Event Center in Denver, Colorado, was absolutely one of those weddings. From the glamorous 1970s-inspired aesthetic and vintage accessories to the deeply personal ceremony, incredible wedding party, and unforgettable pom-pom sendoff, every part of their wedding day felt like them. And honestly? I was obsessed with it all.

When Trais and Arden first reached out to me about photographing their wedding, they told me about their vision for the day, and I was immediately excited. They were planning something unique, full of personality, and completely different from the traditional wedding aesthetic. Their glamorous 70s-inspired vibe, combined with vintage details and touches of fantasy lore, promised a wedding day unlike any other. As a Denver wedding photographer, getting to photograph couples who aren't afraid to embrace what makes them different is one of my favorite parts of this job.

A Glamorous 70s-Inspired Wedding at Wellshire Inn Event Center

The Wellshire Inn Event Center in Denver, Colorado, was a wonderful setting for Trais and Arden’s wedding. The property offered plenty of different spaces to explore for portraits, giving us the opportunity to create a variety of images that felt just as unique as the couple themselves.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is seeing how couples take their interests, personalities, and individual styles and weave them into their wedding day. Trais and Arden absolutely nailed that. Their wedding wasn't about following a particular trend or trying to recreate something they'd seen online. It was about celebrating who they are, and that authenticity showed in every detail.

I loved having the opportunity to explore the property with them and try different perspectives, compositions, and creative approaches to their portraits. I definitely stepped outside my usual comfort zone in some of the ways I photographed their day, and I loved the opportunity to experiment and create something different for a couple who deserved photographs just as distinctive as their wedding.

Vintage Brooches, Coordinated Scarves, and Incredible Wedding Style

Let's talk about the details, because Trais and Arden brought some seriously incredible style to their wedding day.

The groom's look was one of my absolute favorites. His lapel featured an amazing collection of vintage and newer brooches, paired with his boutonniere for an extra layer of personality and sophistication. The combination was such a chic way to accessorize a wedding suit, and I loved how the brooches added texture, history, and visual interest to his look.

Even better, each of the groomsmen had their own scarf and brooch set. I absolutely loved this detail! It gave the wedding party a coordinated look without making everyone feel identical. Each person had their own individual style, while the accessories tied everything together beautifully. It was thoughtful, fashionable, and perfectly suited to the couple's glamorous vintage-inspired aesthetic.

These are the kinds of wedding details I love photographing because they tell a story. They're not just accessories; they're little pieces of the couple's vision coming to life.

A Stunning Bridal Gown with Floral Embroidery and a Vintage-Inspired Hairstyle

Arden looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day.

Her bridal gown featured a gorgeous floral embroidered bodice, with the intricate design flowing down into the skirt. Paired with a matching embroidered veil, the entire look was romantic, elegant, and completely unforgettable. The embroidery added so much beautiful detail to the dress, making it especially lovely to photograph up close.

And her hair? I adored it! The vintage, 1950s-inspired hairstyle was the perfect complement to the glamorous aesthetic of the day. It brought together the timeless elegance of classic bridal styling with the couple's more unconventional, 70s-inspired vision.

Everything worked together so beautifully. From the gown and veil to the carefully chosen accessories throughout the wedding party, there was a clear sense of style without anything feeling forced. Arden's bridal look was a perfect example of how couples can blend different eras and influences to create something entirely their own.

A Personalized Wedding Ceremony with Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons Lore

One of the most meaningful parts of Trais and Arden's wedding was their ceremony.

Their officiant created a completely customized wedding ceremony that told the story of their relationship in such a personal, thoughtful, and genuinely adorable way. Rather than simply repeating traditional wedding vows and readings, the ceremony reflected who Trais and Arden are as a couple, incorporating elements of their shared interests and personalities.

And, of course, there were touches of Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons lore woven into the story!

I absolutely loved this. The references felt like a natural extension of the couple rather than something added just for the sake of being different. Their ceremony was funny, heartfelt, personal, and full of little details that made it clear how well their officiant understood them.

It's always wonderful when a wedding ceremony feels like a true celebration of the two people standing at the altar. Trais and Arden's ceremony did exactly that. It was a beautiful reminder that your wedding doesn't have to follow a particular formula to be meaningful. You can incorporate your favorite books, games, stories, traditions, and inside jokes into the day and create something that feels completely authentic to your relationship.

An Incredible Wedding Party Full of Personality

I have to give the wedding party some love, because these people were absolutely incredible!

The ladies brought confidence, attitude, and so much personality to the day. The guys were equally amazing, and everyone was completely on board with the energy Trais and Arden wanted for their wedding. There was no shortage of laughter, enthusiasm, and genuine excitement surrounding the couple.

Photographing a wedding party like this is such a joy. When everyone is comfortable being themselves, the photographs become more than just a collection of posed group shots. You get real interactions, genuine expressions, hilarious moments, and the kind of images that bring you right back to how the day actually felt.

The energy was there from the beginning, and I loved every minute of photographing this crew. They were fun, supportive, and ready to celebrate Trais and Arden in the best possible way.

Beautiful Wedding Speeches and a First Dance to Remember

After their beautiful ceremony, the celebrations continued with heartfelt speeches and one of my favorite moments of the evening: Trais and Arden's first dance.

The speeches were such a wonderful opportunity to hear more about the couple through the eyes of the people who know and love them. These moments often bring some of the most genuine emotions of a wedding day, from laughter to happy tears, and they were a beautiful part of the celebration.

Then came the first dance, and I absolutely adored their song choice. There is something special about watching a couple share that first dance as newlyweds, especially when the music feels so personal to them. It's one of those moments where the rest of the room seems to fade away for a little while, allowing the couple to enjoy a moment together before the party really gets going.

And once the dancing started, the dance floor stayed full! Everyone was ready to celebrate, and the energy carried throughout the evening. The reception was filled with movement, laughter, and the kind of fun that makes for some truly memorable wedding photographs.

A Pom-Pom Sendoff and a Vintage Rolls-Royce Grand Finale

If you thought Trais and Arden's wedding couldn't get any more fun, the ending was the perfect way to prove otherwise.

The night wrapped up with an incredibly fun pom-pom sendoff before the newlyweds headed off in a gorgeous vintage Rolls-Royce. It was glamorous, playful, and completely in keeping with the personality of the day.

And naturally, we had to take photographs of the couple with the car!

The vintage Rolls-Royce was such a fantastic finishing touch, adding another layer of classic style to an already unforgettable wedding. I loved capturing portraits of Trais and Arden with the car, giving them a set of images that felt straight out of a glamorous vintage-inspired celebration.

From the personalized ceremony and carefully curated accessories to the packed dance floor and pom-pom sendoff, their wedding day had so many incredible moments. Ending the night with the two of them beside that beautiful car felt like the perfect final chapter.
