There’s something incredibly special about weddings at Della Terra by Wedgewood Weddings in Estes Park, Colorado. Nestled at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, this stunning mountain venue combines breathtaking scenery with an intimate, romantic atmosphere that feels straight out of a dream. With towering pines, mountain views, and warm stone architecture, it’s one of my absolute favorite places to photograph weddings in Colorado. (Wedgewood Weddings).
Chloe and Nick’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple; genuine, emotional, joyful, and completely centered around celebrating with the people they love most. From the very beginning of the day, you could feel how intentional every moment was. Nothing felt overly staged or rushed. Instead, the entire day unfolded naturally, allowing everyone to truly be present and soak in every moment together. One of the most emotional parts of the day was their ceremony. The groom’s brother officiated, which made everything feel even more personal and meaningful. Chloe and Nick exchanged handwritten vows that had everyone tearing up, including me behind the camera. Those are the moments I live for as a wedding photographer, the emotion, the laughter through tears, and the connection between two people who are fully themselves together.
And because this was an Estes Park wedding, the mountains gave everyone an unforgettable surprise right after the ceremony — a moose spotting! Guests gathered outside excitedly watching the moose wander nearby, which honestly felt like the most perfect Colorado wedding moment imaginable. It added such a fun and memorable touch to an already incredible day and made the entire experience feel even more magical.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with one of the most fun dance floors ever, seriously. From heartfelt toasts to packed dance floor moments, their guests brought so much energy and love to the entire evening. It was impossible not to smile watching everyone celebrate these two. The venue sits on 14 secluded acres with stunning mountain views, gorgeous indoor and outdoor ceremony options, and an intimate atmosphere that photographs beautifully in every season.
