I absolutely love Savannah and Tanner! They are such a fun couple, and we had an incredible time during their engagement session at Golden Ponds Nature Preserve. As the day approached, I couldn't help but feel a little anxious about the weather. The forecast called for rain, and I worried it might put a damper on our plans. However, Savannah and Tanner had the perfect outlook. With their upbeat attitude, they said, "Let's risk it for the biscuit and have some fun anyway!" Their positive energy was infectious and set the tone for the entire session.
When we arrived at Golden Ponds, the scenery was still beautiful despite the gray skies. The lush greenery and reflections on the water created a unique atmosphere that added charm to our session. Rainy day engagement photos can actually turn out stunning, and I was excited to capture some amazing moments. As we started shooting, the light drizzle became almost magical, creating a dreamy backdrop that photographers often dream of.
