An adorable South Mesa Trail Engagement Session

Like many of my couples, I get to meet them in person for the first time during their engagement session. This was the first time meeting Lisa and Jason and they were so much fun! Lisa definitely wanted that fall vibe for her engagement session and what better spot than South Mesa Trail. It is easy access, no hiking and look how beautiful the trees are. This hiking area is known for its historic homestead vestiges and a landscape that’s a pleasing mix of rolling meadows and hilly pine forests, loaded with wildflowers and birds. The adventure starts right away, as you cross two bridges over the clear, babbling South Boulder Creek. In the springtime, keep your eyes peeled for domestic irises, planted by homesteaders over 100 years ago. With mountain views, beautiful foliage, and an adorable bridge moment it is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions as well as family sessions.
