The View Restaurant at Crags Lodge Wedding

These two had a destination wedding at the beautiful The View Restaurant at Crags Lodge located in Estes Park, Co. They did a simple first look to read private vows to each other before the ceremony and some quick bridal party photos before the rain came. Kaylen and Kyle had a small wedding ceremony and it started raining in the middle of their vows! Rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last. As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel! We can thank Hindu traditions for this belief. After the ceremony we ran inside to wait things out before we finished up family photos.
