Wedgewood Tapestry House Wedding for Jose & Lindsay
Some weddings just feel extra special, the kind that leaves you smiling for days afterward. Lindsey and Jose’s beautiful summer wedding at the Tapestry House on August 3rd was exactly that kind of day. Full of heart, laughter, and unique touches that truly reflected who they are, it was a joy and an honor to capture every moment behind the lens.
Lindsey and Jose first met over a decade ago in a Japanese class at university. Fast forward 11 years, two cats, and countless shared memories later, they tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family at one of the most charming venues in Colorado.
The Tapestry House was the perfect setting for their celebration. From its elegant Victorian architecture to the sprawling gardens, the venue felt like a fairytale, but what made it truly magical was how Lindsey and Jose made it their own. One of my favorite details is how the Tapestry House creates a custom engraved brick for each couple, allowing them to leave a permanent mark on the space where they began their new chapter together.
There were so many moments throughout the day that felt authentically “them.” Their first dance, a semi-choreographed number to Stupid in Love by MAX, was equal parts sweet, romantic, and playful (not going to lie, it’s one of my favorite songs too, so I may have been dancing a little behind the camera). And instead of the traditional bouquet and garter toss, they surprised guests with a plush cat toss, a nod to their beloved feline companions. It was unexpected, adorable, and absolutely perfect.
As they prepare to start their next adventure on the East Coast later this summer, I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to document this milestone for them. Lindsey and Jose, your day was filled with so much love and intention. Thank you for trusting me to capture your story.
Here’s to a future as joyful and full of personality as your wedding day. T
