Wellshire Event Center wedding for Sarah & Troy


Sarah and Troy had the most romantic day at the stunning Wellshire Event Center, and it was a joy to witness and document their charming wedding. Taking place this past weekend, their special day was surrounded by the love and warmth of family and friends who came together to celebrate the beginning of their new life as a married couple.


The ceremony was held in the elegant Windsor Room, a breathtaking space that feels like it belongs in a fairytale. With its stained glass windows letting in soft, colorful light, large wooden ceiling beams that add character and warmth, and vintage chandeliers that exude charm, the setting was perfect for their vows. The ambiance was romantic and inviting, making it a memorable place for the couple to exchange their promises to each other.


Adding a unique touch to the ceremony, Sarah and Troy were married by the bride's aunt and uncle, which was a first for me to see two officiants in action. This personal connection made the ceremony even more meaningful. As they stood before their loved ones, they took turns reading heartfelt vows that reflected their love and commitment. The emotion was palpable in the room, and it was clear to everyone present how deeply they cared for one another.


One of the highlights of the day was the exchange of rings. I absolutely love the thoughtful choices they made! The groom's ring is particularly special—it features an engraving of a topographical map of St. Mary’s Glacier, where he proposed to Sarah. This detail not only symbolizes the significant moment in their relationship but also adds a personal touch that encapsulates their unique journey together.


Throughout the day, the couple incorporated thoughtful details that truly showcased their personalities. Their engagement photos were printed and displayed beautifully around the venue, allowing guests to reminisce about the couple’s journey leading up to this significant milestone. It created a warm atmosphere filled with shared memories and delighted smiles.


One of the most charming aspects of their reception was the vintage phone guestbook. Guests could leave their well wishes and messages on the retro device, which added a creative twist and a nostalgic feel to the event. It was a fun element that encouraged guests to express their thoughts in a unique way, making it even more memorable for everyone.


The cake also featured a delightful surprise—an adorable cake topper that was a statue of their beloved dog, Oscar. Earlier in the day, the groom had gifted this little statue to the bride, and she cherished the idea of including it in their wedding cake. This sweet touch brought even more personality to the celebration and reflected the couple's love for their furry friend.


As a photographer, I felt incredibly honored to capture their big day. There were countless special moments that unfolded, from the laughter shared during the ceremony to the heartfelt dances at the reception. Being entrusted to document these intimate moments meant the world to me, and it is something I will always cherish.


Sarah and Troy are such a lovely couple, and their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and friendship.
