Kate & Nolan's Joy-Filled Summer Wedding at Wellshire Event Center

Some love stories don't start out perfectly and that's exactly what makes them memorable. Kate and Nolan first met at a bar, and let's just say their first encounter wasn't exactly love at first sight. Thankfully, Nolan didn't give up. With plenty of charm he eventually won Kate's heart, and on July 11, 2026, the two celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together with an unforgettable wedding at the beautiful Wellshire Event Center in Denver, Colorado.

From the moment guests arrived, it was obvious that this wedding was all about family, love, and celebrating the little moments that make a relationship special. The couple chose a timeless color palette of sage green, navy, and soft yellow, creating a classic summer atmosphere that perfectly complemented the elegant surroundings of the venue.

One of my favorite things about Kate and Nolan's wedding was how personal every detail felt. The fireplace mantle was decorated with photographs that told the story of their love through countless little moments together. Guests were able to see pieces of their journey, making the space feel warm, welcoming, and uniquely theirs.

Another thoughtful touch was found at each reception table. Instead of traditional table numbers, every table featured a photograph of Kate and Nolan at the corresponding age. It was so fun to see them as kids!

Family played an important role throughout the entire wedding day. A beloved family member officiated the ceremony, making every word feel even more heartfelt and personal. Kate's aunt lovingly baked the beautiful wedding cake, adding another meaningful family contribution to a day already filled with love and support.

The reception was full of laughter, happy tears, and some truly unforgettable speeches. Kate's sisters, who served as the maid of honor and matron of honor, shared stories that had everyone laughing one moment and reaching for tissues the next. The best man's toast perfectly balanced humor with heartfelt words, celebrating not only Nolan's friendship but the incredible couple they have become together.

As the formalities came to an end such as the stunning private vows they exchanged during the sunset on the famous Wellshire Inn bridge, the dance floor quickly became the center of the celebration. One of my favorite parts of photographing weddings is watching couples finally relax and soak in every moment after months of planning. Kate and Nolan did exactly that. They weren't worried about anything except enjoying every second with the people they love most. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and their energy was contagious. Seeing them laugh, dance, and celebrate surrounded by family and friends was the perfect ending to such an incredible day.
